The original Day of Splurge occurred on June 18, 1994. This event (along with several others in this calendar) are the brain child of marketing and public relations expert Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith of Chicago.
Days Of The Splurge consist of heightened buzz via Activities, Advertisements, Blogs, and other festivities generated by Members of Koopersmith’s CLUB SPLURGE. Participants include several national retailers and media offering Topic and Deal of the Day and direct marketing campaigns online and off. The year long focus runs under the moniker: 12 MONTHS IN 2014 = 12 CATEGORIES = 12 SENSATIONAL WAYS TO SPLURGE STARTING NOW.
