Today's Featured Event is Drink Wine Day
There is no official origin for this particular holiday. It simply seems to have grown out of custom and fun. However, it does provide an opportunity to enjoy one of the world’s favorite (and oldest) beverages. Take a chance to try a new variety you’ve never tried. Even if you were to drink a glass of wine every day of your life, you could never taste every variety. As of 2010, more than 75,000 different varieties exist with 200 primary categories.
