BEVERAGE DAY, NTL.
About Beverage Day
National Beverage Day occurs each year in May and is an unofficial holiday with no sponsor. Basically it is a day about celebrating what we drink from water to soda to milk and to juice, and just about everything in-between. Where this date came from and why is unknown. We’ve been unable to find a historic event tied to it.
Several restaurants around the United States and Canada do mark this day by offering free drinks with meal purchases. On National Beverage Day, it doesn’t hurt to ask wherever you dine today if they’re offering any free beverages. Just don’t be surprise if they say, “Yes. Would you like some water?”
Enjoy!
