CHOCOLATE CUSTARD MONTH
About Chocolate Custard Month
National Chocolate Custard Month is an unofficial, unsponsored food holiday in the United States during the month of May. What is the difference between custard and pudding?
Custards have eggs. Puddings do not. Custards are thickened by egg protein. Puddings are thickened by starch (tapioca, corn starch, etc.)
Custards are not vegan. Puddings are vegan if made with soy, rice or coconut milk.
Which ever you prefer, enjoy eating chocolate all month in a pie, torte or custard.
