Every day people are bombarded with images of young, thin people and we're told this is what we should look like. If we don't, we're not attractive. This is the core motivation for eating disorders, the desire to control something in one's life and achieve an idea of perfection. The Canadian government has set aside this week to focus on this issue which affects millions of men and women the world over.
