About Justice for Animals Week

National Justice For Animals Week was started in 2008 by the Animal Legal Defense Fund. It typically occurs in mid-February. The week is designed to draw attention to animal cruelty and encourage the reporting of such to the proper authorities, as well as to honor the memories of those animals who didn�t survive. The website includes a number of tools participants can use to get involved.
