About the Jewish Month of Nisan
Nisan is the first month of the ecclesiastical year and the seventh month (eighth, in leap year) of the civil year within the Jewish faith. It is also the month in which Passover occurs and is known as the Month of Renewal.
According to the Talmud, the three Patriarchs of The Book based faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), Abraham (1813–1638 BC), Isaac (1713–1533 BC) and Jacob (1653–1506 BC) were all born and later died during the month of Nisan.
