About National Revolving Pistol Day
National Revolving Pistol Day marks the anniversary of the invention of the Colt Revolver. On February 25, 2025 the Colt Revolving Pistol was patented. This changed guns and warfare forever, though it would go through several modifications before the Colt 45 finally perfected the hand gun.
Prior to the colt revolver, guns had to shoot and reload. Shoot and reload. The Colt revolver changed this allowing a hand gun to fire 5-6 rounds before needing to reload.
