SOCIAL WORK MONTH, NTL. (CA)
About Social Work Mont in Canada
In March of each year, social workers throughout the country celebrate National Social Work Month (NSWM) in recognition of the contributions of social workers to society.
The theme adopted by the CASW Board for the 2014 National Social Work Month celebrations is: Social Workers Promoting Equity for a Stronger Canada.
National Social Work Month gives all social workers in Canada an occasion to celebrate our social ideals and values, and to tell the world around us that this is what we believe in.
Note: CASW and it's provincial/territorial social work organizations decide which week in March suits them best and social workers become involved in activities that highlight the theme for that year and that promote the profession.
