Patient Safety Awareness Week educates caregivers and patients about health care safety. It is an international event. Participating institutions display the NPSF campaign logo. Community outreach seeks to education hospital staff, in-home caregivers and patients. Each year a different theme focuses on a specific aspect of health care safety.
