About A Atheist Week
Atheist (A) Week is an online event that runs during the third week of March. The purpose of 'A' Week is to raise awareness of how many people are ‘Good without gods’ and don’t need religions to influence their lives.
Participants during the week replace their online photos with the atheist symbol, a scarlet letter A and participate in a number of events around the world.
A Week is a grassroots event without an official sponsor. Sources to consult on atheism include the Richard Dawkins Foundation, the American Atheist Society and the Secular Coalition for America.
